Kai has been involved with Pride groups since they were a teen and been with the Fenton Pride Collective since its inception. They teach at an alternative high school and are currently in a Doctorate of Education program. When they’re not working, they enjoy doing projects around the house, reading, writing, and gallivanting with their spouse, Josh.

Connie Lee

Connie has been an advocate for human and civil rights all her life and Vice President of the Fenton Pride Collective from the start. She also spent years heavily involved in a local community theater group. When Connie isn’t relaxing as a retired human resource manager, she enjoys patronizing local Fenton businesses and going to events around town.

Mark Martin-Fanone

Mark is a husband, father, and advocate. He was the treasurer for a Scouts troop for a number of years.

Dan Hrbek

Recording Secretary

Dan is a retired automotive test engineer. He and spouse Kerry have two adult kids and currently one grandkid (one more on the way!). Dan enjoys family time and tinkering on various projects on his workbench. He unfortunately gets sucked into Kerry’s TV shows and regrettably enjoys them.

Kerry Hrbek

Corresponding Secretary

Kerry is a retired grocery store manager and a grandmother of 1 with another on the way. In her free time she runs a Bird Feeder Camera page on Facebook, watches way too many Netflix and Discovery trashy TV shows, walks, and enjoys hanging out with her family.

Rachel Oberle

Rachel was elected to the Fenton Pride Collective Board in February 2023. She is a compassionate mother and true activist at heart.

Jasmyn Lee

Marketing Director

Jasmyn has lived in the Fenton area all her life and has been helping shape the community by being on the Fenton Pride Collective Board of Directors since its inception. When she’s not advocating for the LGBTQ+ community, she works as a marketing manager for a restaurant.

Kim Owens

Trustee

Kim is an English professor at Mott Community College and recently served as the faculty union President. Her primary focus now is on her twin boys and making sure they grow up in a community of love and acceptance for all. An activist for reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights for decades, she looks forward to continuing to fight the good fight on the FPC board.

Domonique Clemons

Trustee

Born and raised in Flint Michigan, Dom attended Flint Southwestern High School and holds a Public Policy Degree from Michigan State University, as well as a master’s degree in Political Management from George Washington University. He has served in roles such as Director of Government Affairs for the Flint and Genesee Group, Director of DEI for the Michigan House of Representatives, and Communications Specialist in the Michigan Senate, among others. Dom is the current elected Genesee County Clerk/ Register of Deeds.
